Jet lag gives one peculiar hours especially when arriving at your first destination. Last night we were up late and slept in a bit which had the odd affect of putting us on the same timing as the locals, a good thing.
We did see today the highlight of this trip and perhaps a top visit in the many places we have been, Basílica de la Sagrada Familia (English: Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family). Started in 1882 it is still under construction and is not expected to be completed for another 16 to 18 year. Famed Barcelona architect Antoni Gaudi became involved a few years after the project was started and gave it its truly unique design. Easily one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen, I will let the pictures do the talking but they do not do the building justice. Nice to see the beauty that belief can inspire.
The Casa Fuster continues to be great place to stay but it has the fussiest Wi-Fis I have had to deal with. Must be in the right place at the right height so lest you think the rabbit ears on the old TVs are gone it has returned in a new form… Resurrection of a form.
